NaBloPoMo Day 1

I already failed.

November is National Blog Posting Month, where many bloggers decide to write one post per day to celebrate the origins of blogging.  I meant to contribute last year but totally forgot until Mid-November. This year, I dropped the ball yet again and forgot it was NaBloPoMo (anyone else need to triple check the order of that abbreviation every time they type it?) until this morning.  But I think the new baby might be a good excuse, right?

So I'm going to give it the old college try, even though much like some college students, I am already behind.  Since I didn't get anything substantial written I will leave you with pictures of what we did on Halloween.

Jacob was Link, his costume made by us with help from my friend Rachel.
We like our kids to wear costumes that no one understands.
*By the way, how good is this shield painted?  Kudos to my husband, the nerd/artist.
Speaking of, Tim and I are Amy Pond and Rory Williams from Doctor Who.  Look it up, kids.
Rory and Link trick or treating
The group for our actual Halloween night trick or treating festivities.
I wore a second costume, which was an homage to my friend Natasha (who is Strawberry Shortcake here!)
The ecstatic kiddos, Jacob was SO excited.
My costume.  If you knew Natasha, you would appreciate the iced coffee.

My pumpkin :)

See you tomorrow! (hopefully)
