NaBloPoMo Day 18: Adopt a Turkey Project

Each year since Cub was born, we sponsor a turkey in his name.  We are vegetarian (though I do eat meat when I'm pregnant) and are raising our boys the same, so in lieu of eating turkey with our family we choose a turkey from Farm Sanctuary to sponsor.

The last two years we just picked one that had a name we liked, year one was Reese (Cub's middle name) and last year was Raphael (my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.  Shut up, he's the best one.)  This year, the Cub picked Elizabeth.

What Thanksgiving traditions do you have with your family?  Anything that you've started since you've had kids?
