Gahhh!!! I can't believe we're 2/3 through his first year!! I had forgotten how much I love this age. He's *just* about to crawl, but right now he just rocks on hands & knees and rolls everywhere. He's also making hilarious new sounds & faces.
Inspired by this post, here are some things I'm currently:
Thinking:
That I need to go minimalist. We are unable to leave our tiny apartment for at least a year and the walls are closing in on us. I'm tempted to donate/throw out every single thing that is not going to be used within 6 months, just to make room.
Feeling:
That time is moving way too fast. Jacob has grown so much this last year and Bennett is just getting bigger each day. Plus my 30th is looming and that's got me waxing poetic sobbing hysterically about my youth.
Watching:
Supernatural. I'm really digging it. I'm about halfway through season 3 so no spoilers please!!
Reading:
The Nerdist Way. I'm doing all of the activities to get my life in order. *fingers crossed*
Excited:
About some new career choices I'm making that feel so right for my future and are so much a part of my passion for helping postpartum women.
Missing:
My friends that I don't see nearly enough!
Proud:
Of Jacob for completing his first year of preschool. He loves his teachers and I'm so pleased with our decision to put him there. They sent him home on the last day with this handmade book filled with photos like this one:
The glee. Pure glee. |
Eating:
Lots of Greek Yogurt with raw honey & chocolate chips. I'm obsessed!
Drinking:
Not enough water. I'm bad about that!
Loving:
The Evernote app (how did I not know this existed?), the documentary Finding Kind (I highly recommend it!), Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter (way better than Nutella!), my new patio setup:
Table & chairs from Target, step ladder from a craft show, Cub is all mine :)
Happy Memorial Day! What are you doing today? It's our 7 year wedding anniversary but we are broke so we're hanging out around the house.
